OVERVIEW
Our Work
Outcome
GE Vernova span out of General Electric (GE) in April 2024, becoming a new independent energy business. This brought all of GE’s global energy operations under one dedicated company.
Following the spin-off, we work with GE Vernova as an extension of their in-house team running their press office. This involves executing a comprehensive media and executive profiling strategy, with a focus on top tier media, news hijacking in response to industry news and policy, and storytelling around their technologies and project milestones.
Part of our ongoing programme also involves raising the profile of GE Hitachi, GE Vernova’s nuclear business, by positioning its technology as market leading in UK media and among key stakeholders as it advances through the Government’s small modular reactor competition.
For example, to showcase their leading role in grid infrastructure and manufacturing, Field’s team planned and led a press trip to GE Vernova’s Stafford factory – the UK’s only large-scale grid manufacturing facility.
We also organised and delivered a high-profile nuclear supply chain conference in Sheffield, positioning the company as a key player in UK nuclear.
We continue to raise the profile of GE Vernova’s executives through a series of thought leadership blogs and Q&As on LinkedIn, with accompanying graphics and quote cards to amplify the posts reach and maximise engagement.
Our media engagement efforts consistently secure national and trade coverage, with recent profile pieces in The Telegraph, The Times, and live interviews on Sky News. Our LinkedIn thought leadership pieces continue to deliver high engagement, strengthening GE Vernova’s influence in the sector.
