WHO WE ARE

Field’s Insight Team delivered a landmark qualitative and quantitative research programme to help the Carbon Capture and Storage Association (CCSA) understand how voters and political stakeholders perceive Carbon Capture, Usage and Storage (CCUS), and how best to frame the technology ahead of the 2024 General Election.

OVERVIEW

This all helped to kick-start a national policy conversation on “Jet Zero” and, coupled with sustained engagement with Ministers, MPs and officials, encouraged the Government to commit to net zero flight “within a generation”, launch the Jet Zero Council, and commit £180m to commercialise SAF facilities in the UK in the 2021 Budget.

OUTCOME

Our insights strengthened the CCSA’s political positioning and helped shape a more compelling, data-driven case for CCUS at a pivotal moment for the sector, supporting its engagement with senior decision-makers across government and industry.
